The Capital Conference will be held April 22nd to 25th, 2010 in Alexandria VA, only 7 miles from the center of the National's Capital, Washington DC.
The theme of the Capital Conference is Education For Action - Knowing Yourself, Knowing Your Community and Committing to Action. There will be educational presentations, keynote speakers, meals, entertainment, plenty of activities and social time for everyone!
New for 2010 will be the separate Provider day on Thursday (and the morning of Friday). Provider day is being produced in collaboration with the George Washington University's Department of Speech and Hearing Science. This stand alone event is geared towards those who provide Speech, Medical and Mental Health services to the transgender community.
We hope you'll join us for what should be an warm, welcoming and educational conference with a little something for everyone in the Transgender community!
